Enviroshield is a licensed spill clean-up contractor
and since 1982, we have been cleaning up soil and groundwater
impacted by petroleum and other chemicals in Connecticut and Westchester County,
New York. All work is performed with a thorough understanding of state regulatory requirements.
We have worked with PCBs, lead, mercury, caustic
fluids and petroleum products. A few examples of
our hazardous material experience follow.
- Coordinated the disposal of approximately 600 tons of soil impacted by
arsenic and PCB's
- Cleaned up of diesel fuel and 40,000 lbs of Phenol Resin caused by a tractor-trailer accident and
turnover on the highway.
- Cleaned up contaminated soil resulting from caustic fluid spill
- Removed and coordinated the disposal of leaking drums and miscellaneous containers of unknown
contents, unknown origin, and unknown responsible party for regulatory agencies
- Removed and disposed solvents, degreasers, paints, catalysts, petroleum products, pesticides and
fertilizers among others.
We have the requisite resources to effectively and rapidly manage spill emergencies.
